  • electric auger question?
I have an Electra and its junk!!! So very disapointed in Stikemaster!! I have a 15 year old gas SM thats a starting and cutting machine but this thing is junk!! I bought it for in the wheel house - no fumes but the biggest problem is that small battery and that catching at the bottom of the hole, it
  • 13 wicked rods
I bought a wicked ice combo last year and love it. Just replace the grease in the reel and its a very nice. The combo is sensitive yet has decent backbone for some bigger fish.
  • Wheel House Must Haves
A bed, auger, heater and rods/tackle..... That should cover it
  • Striker Ice Climate Vs. Frabill FXE Snosuit
I'm biased, but i ran the climate 2 years ago....best suit for multiple choices hands down. The float feature is just icing in the cake. I switched to the predator last year purely because the suit was too warm for my taste, this year I might pick up a guardian or duck blind suit just because i [...]

  • Bulking Up For Dirty Water Bass.
Bulking Up For Dirty Water Bass. by Chad Peterson - Bulking Up For Dirty Water Bass A lot of people cringe at the thought of fishing a lake with pea soup colored water, I’m talking lakes that swallow secchi disks alive.  I’ve grown to love this particular situation as most of the b [...]
  • How Quickly Things Can Change
How Quickly Things Can Change by Mitch Bradshaw - Tournament Fishing isn’t for everyone. For some anglers it takes the fun out of the past time or hobby that they love. • Downrigger Wiring Basics

  • Lay Over Walleyes
Lay Over Walleyes by HSO Staff by Jason Mitchell Anglers love to follow cliches.  Many of these cliches get taken as bold truths and get repeated until nobody ever questions what the cliche is.  A lot of information is regurgitated and repeated until we get to a point where people just do [...]
  • Pitching Drop Shotting
Pitching Drop Shotting by HSO Staff Author: Matt Johnson When we think of drop-shotting, we typically think of vertical, finesse fishing over a rock pile or piece of isolated structure. Or maybe even a tactic used to pick-off schooling smallmouth bass along expansive flats. Drop-shotting is without [...]
